Go eat at Gus's fried chicken and no one will ever confuse Memphis with not being southern. Plus where I grew up is now close enough to Ole Miss to be considered an instate student. That has to count for something.

I've only been through Memphis (stayed one night), and I always thought Memphis was Southern. Hell it's right at the border of Mississippi and Arkansas, how could it not be?
