LSU fans, review of Trey LMFAO at Team USA/Canada game

This is from somebody who covered the Team USA team in Arlington this past week.
Trey Lealaimatafao- LSU-DT…kept getting in trouble during the week. He can play, but he’s very very immature right now. It carried over to the game and was promptly tossed for 2 unsportsmanlike penalties. Just would not shut-up.
People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, fellas. You replaced Gerald Willis with someone who apparently has some attitude issues himself. I know I am sick of reading crap from you guys constantly bashing Willis, mainly because I already know he has some issues he needs to clean up. Fact is, a good amount of highly touted kids have issues.

I actually agree. I've heard some things about him as well. Just like with Speedy and Gerald. I heard stuff about them before they committed but still wanted them. I stand by thinking those guys have questionable character and I agree Trey L has the same baggage.

personal foul U come on gator we bash every recruit that doesn't come here

I am not bashing the kid, because of all people, I know for a fact Willis needs to get it together. I just don't need to read it in multiple threads every week. I'm simply pointing out that all teams get recruits who have attitude problems, even LSU.

Absolutely, you can only hope you get the same amount if not more high character leaders that can steer the bad ones the right way.

Hadn't heard that
At the end of the day, no LSU fan would trade Willis for Trey L, but glad we have him. Hopefully both will grow up

I get it, no one should be dogging on Willis just cause be picked UF. Though there's a big difference between acting out at an allstar game and not qualifying cause you keep getting suspended and won't take the ACT seriously. It is what it is, even if it all turns out to be rumors.

Until Trey L starts calling future teammates "frick boys" on Twitter, I think Willis has him beat.
Point taken, however.

It all boils down to immaturity. Easley came in to UF with some terrible immaturity and attitude issues. He is now one of the best leaders UF has ever seen. Many of these kids are used to being "the guy" on every team and against every opponent (this leads to getting a big head). A lot changes when you get on campus, and those around you are just as talented.

Willis was replaced with sione and valentine

Where is the link to this? I haven't heard this about Trey. If he would get anything it would seem like he got unnecessary roughness penalties. Dude is relentless. I'd rather have an angry shite talking body slamming beast then a suspect pre-madonna. That's just my opinion though.

Whipping this kids into shape is all part of the un-recruiting process. These kids are about to get a dose of real life. Most will make it, because they will be surrounded by a strong supporting cast, few will fail.

I believe it.

oh I believe it too, I just think it'll prove more challenging to polish up an inner city NOLA boy than a poly from San Antonio.
Not saying Trey L is without any issues, we simply haven't heard much about them besides now hearing of a couple unsportsmanlike penalties in an allstar game. Big whoop, versus Willis who unquestionably has a pattern of poor behavior, including calling a future teammate a "frick boy" on twitter, failing to become academically eligible to EE, starting fights after the state championship game, having his own signing day party away from his Karr teammates....not to mention his family is totally dysfunctional.
All that being said, he could be whipped into shape at UF and Trey L could turn into some tPOS at LSU....but if I were a betting man I'd take the other way.

It's not the first time I've heard of issues.

An undisciplined Samoan?! Next you'll try to convince me that there are hypocritical Catholics.

Thanks, I'll let him know it's not cool to talk shite to opposing players on a football field....someone's feelings might get hurt.
