jesus fricking christ you are a brick wall of mindlessness

YES

Refusing to keep up with teh facilities arms race plus refusing to give him teh money needed to keep guys like Davie from leaving led to a slow decline.

Once Texas and OU passed us w/facilities and coaching money we were fricked b/c they started sucking up all the best recruits.

Again RC's office was a tiny arse POS that you couldn't fit 3 chairs into attached to a parking garage while Mack had a kick arse huge room that had a view of DKRs field. That kind of shite makes a huge difference on impressions.

Not being able to secure your staff b/c you don't have the money to do so has a long term effect and causes talent drain b/c recruits don't want to go to a place where their guy might be gone.

Even Tech was on the ball w/this stuff plus they were lucky enough to pick up on the switch to spread offense earlier than most everyone else. Colorado was much like Nebraska w/steroids and accepting mongoloids that no other school could stomach and once that caught up with them w/shite tons of woman beating and rape issues (I'm not even talking about that kicker BTW) it wrecked them.

AND USING CAPS does not make your points any better.

I'm sorry but you don't know what the frick you are taking about. You don't know how the inner working of the school are or have been. You refuse to accept reality when you don't like what it is.

Its not as simple as well this coach should be better. I'm sorry but it just isn't. There are tons of behind the scenes things that have a heavy impact on if you are successful or not.

We lost Bob Davie to Notre Dame after the 1993 season to be their Defensive Coordinator and then their Head Coach after Holtz left.

Piss poor example.

Let's examine the other coaches that left after the 1993 season:

Bob Toledo - UCLA OC, then Head Coach

Mike Sherman - UCLA OL, then back to A&M as OC

Terry Price - Left for Western Kentucky as Strength and Conditioning Coach

Clancy Barone - Left for Eastern Illinois to coach OL (was assistant OL coach)

David Cully - Left to become WR coach for Tampa Bay

Gary Kubiak - Left to become QB coach the San Francisco

Todd Howard - Left for the Grinnell Pioneers

Kirk Doll - Followed Bob Davie to Notre Dame

Gee, I wonder what happened to prompt all but 2 of R.C. Slocum's assistants to leave prior to the 1994 season. It wouldn't happen to do with someone named Warren Gilbert, would it?
