Again....like I said
I added the points for both Tennessee and LSUs top 20 commits.

Tennessee= 117.3 for an average of 5.865
LSU= 117.1 for an average of 5.855

Just look at the numbers. It's really that simple. UTs class is not quantity over quality. I don't know why that's so hard for the idiots on here to grasp

Wow look at the nice manipulated numbers, yippee for you. Now lets get real, do a little research.

Take your entire 33 person class & compare it to LSU's entire 23 person class this year plus their top 10 from last year, or if your patient enough compare it to their first 10 signees for next year & see where you stand. Don't look good? OK how about Alabama, Texas A&M, Florida, Georgia, etc.

In other words, nice little accomplishment with the giant class but nowhere close to the upper echelon recruit for recruit.

We don't have a 33 person class. If you can't even get that right I'm doubtful that you'll be able to grasp the reasons recruiting services only count a top number. Averages are funny things -- it's far easier to score 4.0 by taking 1-2 classes than by taking 6.

With football classes the best way to judge a class is via the top 20-25 and including in other factors like top100/300, pos rank, etc. and averaging the formula out. All 4* stars are not created equally not even when they're the same grade of 4* -- that's why the services use formulas to more accurately judge a class. Raw scores are interesting but they don't tell the tale.

You just can't be this stupid. I didn't manipulate anything. One last time, all I did was take LSUs 20 highest ranked players for this class and added the points given for each player. That total came to 117.1

I then added UTs 20 best players. That total came to 117.3.

So, yes it definitely is upper echelon.

I will not respond to anymore idiots ITT

Dude how about swallow your pride and give credit where it is due. Just admit the VOLS landed a damn good class coming off straight losing seasons. If the VOLS weren't on the come up people would be saying what a great class it is. But te fear in people is what makes them react in such a negative way. Just like how complimentary people are of Kentucky's class. Those compliments will turn into snotty remarks once KY lands back to back to back top 5 - 10 classes and people realise they are rising. I also realise people like to hate TN because it wasn't too long ago they were TN's bitch. I grew up a college football fan in the 90's. Never had a total favorite team. But I remember TN whippin bama, lsu, uga, USCe arse regularly. So it's pretty easy to get all the hate from the fans on here lol... It's funny. Because the fans of those teams can't tell nuetral fans can see why they have that hatred for TN lol.. I live in Georgia and you wouldn't think their fans were alive in the 90's the way they talk about TN. Cuz i would've dropped $100,000 on TN just about every matchup they had in the 90's. But they win a few games against TN and TN is just a terrible shithole program lol. I seem to recall BAMA not being shyt in th 90's. These teams talk now like TN is nothing and can never get back to being dominant. It's pretty funny too watch.
