if you look at the last two months, it feels like getting played... if you look at his recruitment as a whole going back to this time last year, it's pretty easy to see how he'd leave town.

if not for our great run this year, it would've never come down to this. Had UGA not sh*t the bed and retained Grantham, he might be a dawg right now... that's just recruiting.

I don't. I think our downfall was trying to sell him on a position that he was not suited for. He is a Courtney Upshaw/Dee Ford type player and imo would have never played a down at our Star position. Saban and Smart simply had a better plan for him that fit his skillset and that is why I believe Alabama got his signature.
