Ryan Bartow had this to say about Chidi:

quote:

Long shot to qualify (even a year from now) given the low test score and many core classes still needed.

The transcript (from Nigeria to Champagnat Catholic in Hialeah, Fla. to the current school in metro Atlanta) has some question marks as well.

Best case scenario for the kid, from multiple contacts, is to re-classify to 2016 and then perhaps, maybe, in a year or so he could have the needed academics to qualify, maybe.

Could have to take the JUCO route.

If his grades are so bad why even move up to 2015?

Taylor Hamm just posted his Kendall Sheffield article.

Just reading between the lines but I think Sheffield is solid. It's definitely not the exciting news the Aggies were expecting.

Not possible. Aubs have said that its only Alabama mods that are mentioning Chidi's academic issues because they have some agenda against him.

It sounds like the best option for Chidi is to stay in the 2015 class and go to JUCO this fall. Even if he reclassifies to 2016 he may not qualify especially with questions coming up about his transcripts from Nigeria. Go to JUCO and graduate and it all behind you. If he waits until next year and still has to go to JUCO we may not see him at a DI until 2018. Go JUCO this fall and we may see him in the SEC 2017.
