Seriously, Thomass? If you moved to Iraq, would you be expected to speak their language,or would you be expected to learn theirs? How about Germany? Iran? Russia? If you go to a foreign land you should learn the primary language, and observe their customs. You should NOT expect them to adapt to your customs, languages and holidays.
And yes. Our country primarily speaks English. It has been attempted to make English the "official" language of the United States, but the liberals wouldn't hear of it. As a result you must learn to speak Spanish instead of them learning English. makes a lot of sense, huh?
I mean, if I moved to Iran, I would expect them to learn English, right? I mean, why should I move there and speak Farsi? THEY should adapt, not me.

You realize that people have spoke non-English languages since the birth of this country? If immigrants want to study here, then yes they should obviously learn English. But there are plenty of people who live and work here without knowing a word of English, and life goes on just fine.
The ad was simply celebrating the diversity of this country. And conservatives love to claim that people migrate from all over the world to live here due to our "freedom ," but yet they get pissed because they speak a different language.
