Who will challenge A&M for the #1 class in '15?

A&M sitting at number 1 with no sign of slowing in sight.
The Ags will earn commitments from at least 3 more top 150 kids at the moment the staff decides to push. And that's just for the early spring.
What other programs can match A&M's momentum and challenge for the top spot?

I think we had this same thread in May or June talking about TN/ATM recruiting classes ranked number one.

Well A&M will finish in the top 5. So clearly that discussion was ridiculous.

Sorry, you must have missed the point, which is that the number five class doesn't live in a galaxy far away from the number one haul.

It does this year.

Oh I didn't realize that was your actual point of the thread

It's not.
I was referring to last year's alleged discussions.
Regardless, suggesting A&M will finish number 1 in a year they eventually finish number 5 doesn't make the original idea moronic.
I hope we're good here.
How does LSU's 2015 class fare? Will the Tigers hang on to more of the state's top 10 players than they did in '14?

No it doesn't.
Not at all.
I know you guys are new to recruiting, and football in general, but yes, there is a vast gulf between #1 and #5 this year.

When will a program other than LSU land the #1 overall recruit again? Maybe 2016?
2014- #1 Leonard
2015- #1 Toliver
2016-?
2017-#1 Dylan Moses

Looking good. We've had top 10 and top 5 classes for the vast majority of my adult life. LSU is deep as it gets in the conference.

I think we've done alright. Can't keep kids in-state all the time. We did manage to get the #1 player in the nation and currently have the #3 class in the nation.
I think we'll be just fine. We've managed to beat aTm the last 2 years.
