What's with all the people on social media posting crap like "Don't talk bad about the local meteorologists! They're only human!" They get paid to make sure shite like this doesn't happen. I mean, hell, they made schools close a few weeks ago just because it was cold. How do you miss a mini-blizzard?

It's not like just a couple of them missed it. Every last one of them missed it, and missed it terribly. Just one of those weird weather phenomenons.

I'll still blame the shite out of them though.

You all are not alone. If the weather people in B'ham dropped the ball, then the city of Chattanooga totally shite the bed.

The high today was 19 degrees. The weather people gave an update around 4 stating that there would be little or no accumulation; by then it was already an inch of packed ice on the roads.

No salt or sand trucks to be found. Schools closed at 11am but buses could not go up the hills to get to the schools. Policeman in the lane next to mine watching the cars spin and slide across the road just like I was.

I live about 15 miles from where I work. It took me 5 1/2 hours to get home.
