James Spann just came on and called his forecast a dramatic error, similar to what happened in 1982 (I am old enough to remember that screwup).

Wants the focus to be not jumping on the weather people (for now), but getting help for people who need it in the big population centers (Birmingham, etc.) who were not expecting this crap.

He just said they just declared Birmingham a civil disaster area. The news is just insane right now
