I agree with the fact that I think the miss would hurt AU more because I see it as a need for AU more than UA. For UA Evans would be a great addition but LB we have great depth.

In regards to head to head it does not bother me and Evans may be the only true head to head battle between the teams this year. UA never really pushed for Roc until it was to late and Tre never showed any real interest in UA. If AU fans consider them beating UA head to head for those 2 I guess Saban beat Gus head to head for MH, but again MH was never really considering AU even though they offered.

This year seem to be interesting for recruiting. It seems both staffs got who they really wanted from the state except for maybe Evans. The next few years may be a little more intense.

BTW every fan base has those fans.

In terms of instate battles, I feel like 9/10 "battles" play out early. Either a kid commits early or Auburn/UA doesn't recruit them because they aren't perfect fits or is obviously interested more in the other school (Tre/Roc/MH for example)

Ronnie Clark and Evans are the only two that I can think of that Auburn would love to have (have remotely have a chance) that UA is after/have at the moment.
