I hate how Georgia was the only team of the big six to not win a national title during the BCS. I hate how the monster that is Alabama started with a blowout win over a cocky Georgia team that likes to wear black jerseys.

Bah. Alabama is in the SECW. They are your problem. If you can't handle your own backyard, don't come whining to me.

haha, what has Terry done, what position is he at now?
...and as far as the last one that's the kid who completeed 2 passes out of 15+ throws in his last 2 All Star games....yeah, you can have him, we didn't even offer.

He redshirted because of an injury so not much. He is projected to be safety. So there.

Yeah, because H.S. all-star games are always showcases for QBs to do their thing - except they aren't.
Check out how he did at the Elite 11 (y'know, as opposed to how your QB recruit did).

Mangus is weird when it comes to QBs. He has a lot of autonomy to offer and scout who he likes, and he saw something in Scarnecchia that piqued his interest, so he took him after we missed out on the kid from Kentucky.
Considering what Mangus did with a couple of lightly recruited kids named Connor Shaw and Dylan Thompson, I think he's earned the benefit of the doubt.
As far as Terry is concerned, if that guy ever contributes at UGA in a meaningful way, I'll be stunned. That said, while I understand kids leaving Georgia and going out of state (just because of sheer volume), I will never understand a kid from SC going to UGA, especially if that player has any designs on moving back to SC after their playing days are over.

The fact that UGA will lose to AU twice this upcoming season should bother you also.

I have no criticisms about how S. Carolina recruits and develops QBs. They do it very well. Same goes for Richt and Co., though. Anyone who criticizes the way Georgia goes about recruiting and developing QBs simply hasn't been paying attention.
As to Terry, why do you say that? Because of the injury?

Cos you have him at the wrong position.

It will bother me only if it happens. Since it hasn't happened, I shant waste my time being bothered by it.

I would think that remains to be seen, but .... okay.

I have been wrong before, but I don't think Jacob Park will ever start for UGA. I have seen him play a lot. Looks the part but just makes a ton of mistakes.

He definitely looks the part and his highlight film is outstanding. When he was getting top of the line coaching at the Elite 11 he excelled against some of the best defensive talent in the country.
So I can understand some skepticism, as high school QBs are not always easy to predict at the D-1 level, but Park is coming in with about as good a resume as you'd want in a H.S. QB. And he will get very good coaching with a talented supporting cast, so ...

I'm not sure why so many of my fellow Gamecock fans think Park is going to tank at UGA ... he may, who knows, but from what I've seen of him he has potential. Richt and BoBo might actually make something out of him. Kid has serious potential IMHO. He just had a crappy post season.

Yeah, I'm starting to sense a pattern here. Every Georgia recruit they get was the best in the state and someone we desperately wanted. Every South Carolina recruit we get (even if he was S.C.'s Mr. Football) sucks and was never wanted by S.C. because they know better.
Except for AJ Green, of course.

That's kind of my thinking. Plus, he is going to have to fight past a ton of talent as we recruit the QB position very well. So he may not work out and he may never see the field at UGA.
But his H.S. film is outstanding and his skill set is exactly what our coaches typically look for in a QB.
I think for him it will come down to what's between the ears.
