FWIW, and for the 487th time...I am glad we didn't get this kid. Don't care about the "team cancer" shite, whether its true or false.

What concerns me is he isn't a RB at this level. He needs to be split out wide or converted to DB.

He is too lanky to play RB at any level above HS. No leg drive and goes down on first contact most of the time. If he doesn't have space, he cant make it for himself.

If someone could convince him to move out wide or go to the other side of the ball...sure, Id like to have him. If he is insistent upon being a RB...frick em, let him end up at BK.

Interesting. Rivals has him listed at 5'10" 197lbs. That is a little lighter than I like to see in a RB. Also they have him at 4.55 speed in the 40; that's not what you would call break-away speed either. Scout says he has better hands that many WR. Maybe he should convert to WR. LINK

So Bama/Saban was wrong in their evaluation of the kid?
Along with Scout,Rivals etc?

Did Bama try to move em out wide or to defense?

Bottom line is that he chose to go to a place that had too many very good RB's ahead of em. Simple enough.

I also have no doubt in my mind that he woulda been the 3rd best RB on our campus the day he signed. He would've been a huge assett to us when TG and Marshall went down.
