I was around then and there were some great games but I'm talking about teams currently. Bama fans in general seem pretty impartial to basketball now that Saban is in town.

I don't understand why Alabama fans in particular have this reputation compared to other fanbases in the league. As recently as two years ago and most years Alabama has finished either 4th or 5th in average SEC attendance behind Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas. In fact, we usually outdraw Florida who has had a much much better program over the last 10 years. That drops a spot now that Mizzou is in the league. Bottom line is that Alabama reputation for supposedly not caring about basketball doesn't match actual attendance figures and rankings compared to the rest of the league.
