Just another Clemson senior to have the opportunity to go 0-4 versus South Carolina...we'll be happy to accommodate...

Lets be honest here, between his ability to do this and his ability to get talent to come live in assfarkville for 3/4 years. Any great salesman recognizes another great salesman. It just goes to show you if you can sell, really sell, actually get in someones mind and find a need to fulfill with a product. One can make a lot of money and always have a job. Because he sure as Santa Claus Sh.t can't coach.

In the past, I would have gotten worked up about this, but after dominating them for 5 years in a row, I really don't care who stays or goes. Hopefully he won't get injured or have a season in which his stock drops him to the 3rd or 4th round. Guess we will see.

Pretty much all of this ^^^

You almost have to feel for the kid though. He had a great year and is talented, but if he doesn't repeat what he did then it will hurt his chances more than an injury would, IMO. He wasn't a highly touted freak coming out of HS like Clowney who could weather a "down" season and still go high in the draft. If he has a bust of a season then he'll drop way down the draft boards.

There's something missing, something more ... because potential 1st round picks do not come back for their senior seasons knowing full well they could blowout a knee or break a tibula or something.

I agree that something is missing. The only first round locks we have seen come back for their senior years have been QB's lately, and ones with solid financial situations at home with their parents.

Maybe he wasn't a first round lock. Maybe he was offered a house on Lake Hartwell for "free" for the rest of his life. I don't really care, he's just another tater that is never going to beat SC.

He got a 2nd rd grade. Still dumb.

They may have a respectable record next year due to that cakewalk schedule but that is a seriously depleted team.

Maybe he just really wants to get a sack vs a SC QB. They all seemed pretty frustrated watching Shaw run all over them this year.
