Leonard Fournette...what sets him apart?

Everyone is really high on Fournette, and rightfully so for the most part, because he is a good talent.
But what sets him apart from players like TJ Yeldon, Jeremy Hill, Eddie Lacy, etc coming out of high school? I feel like he is the most highly touted HS running back in quite some time, and I just don't see what sets him apart from the rest.

This isn't an elaborate corn dog joke is it?

His size and speed combo along with his balance. He also has great vision and catches the ball very well. The only thing he has to work on really is blocking.
ETA: He also cuts and makes people miss incredibly well for someone his size

6'1"-6'2" 225-230# with incredible power, balance, elusiveness and good hands. Won the 4A 100m with a 10.6 Biggest thing that may help him is his demeanor, humility, attitude and work ethic. That goes a long way towards growth, leadership and showing upperclassmen that you're there to earn. Like any frosh, he'll need to learn the playbook and how to pick up blocking schemes. He could be a legend or the next Brian Darden. Time will tell. I never start running my mouth about recruits before they play. I'll take a wait and see approach. I expect him to take the LSU #7 and run with it. No pun intended.

Athletically as talented as any - the smarts & character few can match.

I don't know where all the hype is coming from, after watching his highlights I was underwhelmed, not much speed, very little strength, I don't see what everone sees in him. Nothing for you guys to worry about. He will be wearing #7 I think.

He's the best back this year, but to see the LSU recruiting board calling him and Adrian Peterson equals is laughable.

Like the poster said he played some of the top competition in the State and dude has been a legend since 9th Grade. I remember my dad went to a game in 2010 and it was St.Aug against 35 and he said man they have a running back that was unstoppable. In other words he was Dylan Moses be back than. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

I know LSU fans are overly excited about LF but if you really need your questions about his skills answered please Google Leonard Fournette makes guys miss touch football. The kid takes a fricking handoff up the middle at the Oregon (I think) camp and makes 4 people miss for a TD from 15yds out. It's ridiculous.
