At 11-4 the fighting Rick Ray's have exceeded last year's win total. Still have no depth and have the rest of the SEC schedule remaining. I'd be thrilled with an NIT berth and happy with a CBI invite. Do yall think either are likely?

I would think the cbi. If we can stay healthy, I think we will keep improving like last year.

How many wins do you even need to make the NIT? Surely well get to 15-16?

Nah...you need more around 18.

Too early to talk about it...all we have done is beat an average Ole Miss team without their best offensive player. We have 4 winnable games coming up. I am hoping we can come out of it winning 2 of the 4. If we win 3 out of the 4 I will start to believe in the NIT chances.

I just didn't know what the qualifications for the NIT were. I'm taking this one game at a time because the SEC just looks to be a very muddled situation outside of the top 2 or 3.

Gotta get RPI into the top 100 before we have much of a chance at the NIT.

Yeah -- it's been shite lately for sure. I'm really questioning how much further we can fall as a conference before we turn it around and are back to borderline elite basketball status overall. We should be comparable in that sport with anybody -- were for years previously.

I guess that hinges on Ark, Mizzou, Tenn, LSU, etc being nationally relevant -- and none of that seems really imminent at this point.
