I'm not reading through this whole clusterfrick of a thread, but 
at the guys that think this is a bad hire. Ed Orgeron doesn't want to be a DL coach ANYWHERE.
And, we run a 3-4 defense. Stop worrying about the stats of our D-linemen. They're never going to have huge stats. That's not how it works. Our linebackers get the stats. But, the linemen are partially responsible for that.

In regards to Texas's rushing defense they gave up more yards per game than UA but teams also run the ball a lot more against them than UA saw. UA actually is ranked 7th in the country for lowest rushing attempts per game against with 32. Texas is 99th with all most 43 attempts per game against them. So based on those numbers yes they will probably have more yards against them per game which does skew the numbers a bit.
