I don't care that people are disappointed with the hire; everyone has a right to feel whatever emotion they want. The part that's frustrating is that people are using an irrelevant stat to say the guy is garbage. Saying he can't get a pass rush and doesn't produce sacks from his d-lineman isn't pertinent because it's not something that he's trying to do. His job is to stop the run and his lines have been very good at that when he was here.

amen. I was just wondering where the disdain for Bo was coming from, and so far, the only thing that I've gotten is "you cant be 'okay' with the hire because there were people that were glad when he left in 2010", and "we didnt have a dominant pass rush".

Neither are those are legit.

Maybe I missed something here. But his 2 DEs this year Jeffcoat 13 sacks and Reed 10 sacks were in the backfield a lot. Combine that with 41 TFL and 35 QBH. Not to shabby.IMO

What about passing situations? Still want the d-line to play the run?
