If the past year and a half is an indication probably not. Gus loves going with a hot hand. Also as things stand now it looks like Jovon will be coming in behind Roc when he gets here.

I find that so weird, because historically, that hasn't seemed to be the case. Watching his Tulsa offenses, at Arky St., and even us in 09/10, he did a pretty good job of spreading the ball around. Wonder what has changed?

One reason he goes with the "hot hand" is because he doesn't want to sub so the defense doesn't get time to sub. He wants to start and finish the drive with the same personnel a lot. So that means whatever RB starts the drive he'd like to keep in the whole time. But I seem to remember we used to run a lot more 2 back sets than we do now though. We should have CAP and Roc in the backfield together flanking Nick on either side.

Tre Mason was SEC OPOY & ROC/Barber don't seem to be able to block.

I wouldn't call it going with the hot hand but rather goign with the clear cut best option.

If Jovon can learn fast enough, there wouldn't be a clearcut "best option"
