It really affected us in pass blocking and on the routes. I can recall a number of throws where the DBs were all over the WRs in the first half.

I'm enjoying the perspective on this. I know that many Auburn fans argued that Alabama was stealing their signals in the first half of the 2010 game in Brian Dennehy (there used to be a youtube video detailing the theory). Auburn fans then seemed to think it was a big deal and that Bama wasn't just "playing well." Now it seems like knowing the call wouldn't help Auburn get all of those sacks. Interesting.

Auburn had plenty of chances to put the game out of reach, and with a dangerous team like FSU, you cannot let them hang around. I think Auburn's special teams is what cost them the game.
