Alabama says it does not keep records
Auburn says it is still processing our request for information
Florida denied our requests, saying it does not keep records
Kentucky denied our request,
LSU...125 students playing football or basketball were specially admitted, meaning they would not have been admitted on academics alone.
Old Miss...Football -- 22/346 scored below the threshold.
Men's basketball -- 8/44 scored below the threshold.
Missouri denied our requests,
Texas A&M...We found that 29 scored below the threshold. That's about 25%.
SCjr acknowledged it received CNN's request in October, but has since not responded to requests for a status update.

Real talk though, this type of illiteracy and athletics goes on at many major universities. We'll feign shock and appaull, but as a society won't do anything about it.
There are over 440000 kids in classrooms today have a reading vocabulary of fewer than 50 words. 40% of African American and Latino students do not get a HS diploma. On average 3000 kids nationwide drop out of HS every day and if a person scores in the bottom 20th percentile on the state reading tests he/she is 25 TIMES more likely to drop out.

Looks like Georgia was the only SEC team with the balls to even answer. I would bet most of the others are worse.

No surprise, its THUGA. Most programs that proclaim "christian values" are cheating rampantly and total degree mills.

No way. No way this happens at UGA. UGA is the institution of higher learning on the East coast. Just ask any leg humper. Mark Richt has also lost control of academics at UGA?

Auburn says it is still processing our request for information. The university estimates it could take several years before it provides CNN with an answer. We will update this page when we get it.
