Not sure why that sems so unlikely, but okay?

IIRC, UT is losing every starter on both lines

The East looks like it will be a total crap shoot. IMO, it will be a three team race with UGA, USCe, and Mizzou.

I hope and wish the Vols will finish 2nd, but I don't see that happening. I'm looking for improvement, but decent chance it will be another rough year.

Yeah I expect UT to go bowling next year. With what y'all are losing on the o-line, 6-7 wins would be a stellar season IMO.

With what Arkansas has coming back, I think they win 3-4 games in the league which will put them finishing around 4-5 in the West.

but I am not convinced that any team in the East will be very good next year.

Can't believe I'm doing this, but...

You do realize SCAR is returning a lot of talent next year on a team that just finished in the top 5, right.

As far as the rest:

UF shouldn't have all the injuries
Same can be said for UGA (hope our defense gets a little better)
Mizzou loses some players, but should still be pretty good,
UT should make a jump, but how far I don't know.
Vandy and Kentucky...I don't know

I agree. I think 6 wins is a fairly reasonable expectation, with anything more than that being a pretty big overachievement.

I don't think the O line will be the problem, we return decent depth and add a good JUCO. the D line looks like it will be real weak.

UT's recruiting class should help, but it's never good to depend on so much youth to win games in this league. Some should be major contributors next year.

LSU could lose 6 games next year

Do you seriously believe this? The last time LSU lost more than 5 games was in 1999. Bama will not be as good next season. A&M and Ole Miss will be average to above average teams. LSU gets Florida and Kentucky from the East, two programs that are a complete mess right now. Wisconsin is the only real OOC threat. Even if LSU loses to Wisky, Bama, Auburn, A&M, AND (god forbid) Ole Miss, that's still only 5 losses. I can understand trying to be conservative, but 6 losses is ridiculous considering the talent and coaching LSU has.

God you Ags are creepy. Letting reason fly out the window just so you and Alabama can cuddle at the top.

I think the committee will try to avoid having two schools from the same conference in the playoffs.

Nope just the way I see it. My 1 2 and 3 could be switched into any order and 4 and 5 could swap too. That is why we play the games. Btw nice to know we still got that rent free space in your head.

I think if its a situation like this year, they will have 4 conferences represented.

If its a situatuion like last year, where OSU is the B1G rep but post season ineligible they will not have a problem with it.

You are accurate though.

We return 8 of 11 starters on offense and 18 of 22 on the 2 Deep.

We return 6 of 11 starters on defense and 16 of 22 on the 2 Deep.

Our leading Tackler, INT'er, rusher, and 8 of the top 9 receivers all return. 4 starting OL return and the entire 3 Deep at TE.

LB was our youngest group last year, we had 2 FR an 1 RS Soph starting, they are all back.

Our QB will be RS Sr Thompson, he's already beaten 3 ranked teams on the road the past 2 seasons.

Next year we have to address CB and DE, but we have a lot of 4 star players already there or coming in.

We have a very tough schedule, 5 teams we play are already ranked in the '14 pre season poll, but we'll still field a competitive team.

We get aTm, UGA, and Mizz at home next year. We have the nation's longest home winning streak, so we got that going for us.
