I hate it when parents try to push their kid one way or another. Give them advice, but let them live their own lives. I felt the same way with the LB we lost to Miami a few years ago. His mom and everyone around him was trying to push him to UF. Glad the kid went where he wanted.

I do think there can be special circumstances which merit more input from the parents. Just generally speaking here.
