Does USC party as hard as LSU or Georgia?

How does the tailgating and afterpary scene compare. I'm for sure transferring into USC this semester and I'm just wondering if I'll for sure have the full SEC school experience.

Any basic info on the tailgating/bar scene quality is appreciated.

Party is a noun not a verb

Unless you're using the rhetoric effect of anthimeria

You will not get the SEC experience at Southern Cal. Should be some decent partying, though, if you can avoid the drive-bys.
Good luck.

Ah, in that case you should get a fine SEC football party experience. I think the only knock is that the stadium may not be in the most convenient place for the type of A-1 tailgating experience you get at UGA, Alabama, etc.

Why in da frick would you transfer to South Carolina?
Columbia SC is a hell hole. Especially in the summer.

Athens is a cool town, but I never have thought the tailgating was particularly special. You guys have a history of littering the hell outta your own campus.

For the risk management program. Why do you say Columbia is a hell hole? I enjoyed Five Points the few times I've visited. And it can't be any more dangerous than Tigerland.

Columbia is hot as balls in the summer, but where in the south isn't? Plenty to do here, I've lived here 21 years now and love it. It's a great time to be a Gamecock.

Well what I was mainly wondering is will i be let down by the nightlife atmosphere in Columbia, after becoming accustomed to LSU's any night of the week partying. I'm switching schools because it's what I need to do academically, but I'm trying to figure out if USC will be a fun time. I hear the fraternities can't have parties in their houses and house parties are nearly non existent. Five points is fun I know but is that ALL there is and is it only live on weekends is what I'm wondering.

I don't get out to 5 Points anymore (I'm 39) but there's always something to do there. I was never involved in a fraternity at USC so I can't speak to the Greek Life but it has definitely gotten a lot nicer since I graduated. The Vista has some good spots too for anyone from their 20s to their 50s and beyond. I don't know if it compares to the constant party nightlife of LSU's campus but trust me you'll have plenty of opportunities to have fun here.

False. Plenty else to do other than 5 points. Go to Columbia often as I leave about 30 minutes away and havent spent much time in 5 points at all.
Plenty to do in Columbia. Plenty of nightlife and you will find out that 5 points is not all there is. You will eventually make your way to "The Vista" and they are also putting a bunch of money into getting that entertainment life back on Main St. If you enjoy fishing, golfing, kayaking, or anything on the lake or river, you will always have something to do.

You will get a pretty good SEC experience (even though their stadium is off campus)

If you value your life, stay away from Five Points after dark.

I just hope it will compare to the awesomeness of LSU's party scene. With entire apartment complexes throwing down, and at least one fraternity having a house party at least every other week.
Hopefully it's just as fun, I was having the time of my life at LSU.
