Give Marshall a spring to gel with his receivers and we'll see a whole new offense from Rhett and Gus in the fall.

throw in Daquille with Sammy Coates... could be lethal.

Dak Prescott, Nick Marshall, and Dylan Thompson.

Marshall is the safe answer. Mauk is solid as is Prescott.

Whomever wins the QB battle of Allen and Hill though at A&M is going to put up some big numbers. That offense is just too explosive and they will be surrounded by ridiculous athletes.

Johnny Manziel was the consensus #14 QB in the SEC prior to his first game. I don't expect the same level out of Allen/Hill obviously but they are unlikely to suck when surrounded by 5 Stars and what should be a very good OL.

Anyone saying anything other than Dak Prescott is a moron. Bleacher Report analysts are calling him the next Cam Tebow.

Guess I am a moron. I have a hard time putting him up there with QB's from elite teams

At long last Steve Spurrier will have the pro-style pocket passer behind a veteran, experienced OL throwing to a host of talented, speedy receivers in 2014. Dylan Thompson will RULE the SEC in 2014...

Career Starts:

ECU: 21-37, 330 yds, 3 tds, 0 int - W 48-10
CU: 23-41, 310 yds, 3 tds, 1 int - W 27-17
MIZZ: 15-27, 222 yds, 0 td, 1 int - W 27-24

Also came into the UAB game for an injured Shaw and went 5-10 for 177 yds and 2 tds, 0 int in a 49-6 win, and came into the UCF game for an injured Shaw and went 15-32 for 261 yds, 0 td and 1 int in a 28-25 win, as well as rotating with Shaw versus Michigan in the Outback Bowl where he went 7-10 for 117 yds, 2 tds and 0 int including throwing the game-winning TD pass in the 33-28 win. Dylan is a gun-slinger in the Spurrier mold of old...

From what I've seen this year, I'd say Dak Prescott...but if Nick Marshall can make great strides in the passing game during the off-season, then I'd say him...

Sky is the limit for Dak. Bring back every single receiver and TE and 4 OL with starting experience.

Need to see improvement from him in the passing game in reads and on touch passes, which should be possible given a full healthy off-season as the starter(he missed all spring last year with turf toe). All in all, he's pretty close right now.

Excited to see the offense next year now that we've got size and power all over the field for the first time under Mullen...

And Connor Shaw didn't beat UCF, but he gets the "W" as the starting QB of record despite being out of the game before the 2nd offensive possession. It's how they officially do these things. If you have issue with it, send an email to "NCAA@NCAA.org"...

Those sunbelt level WRs are going to need to improve for dak to reach his full potential as a passer.

I see it is almost time to find something better to do until August or so.

They got better as the year went along. Also a very big transition from Russell's style of reading/throwing to Dak's with zero offseason to prepare. He still made tremendous strides as a passer as the year went along.

Keep in mind -- we had 3 total games of starting experience at the WR position at the start of this year after losing our top 5 receivers last year.

Wilson and Lewis gonna be beasts next year -- Holloway, Brown, Ross, RoJo all have potential.
