yep...as long as we don't lose Dismukes I'm happy

I agree with this and this was the first thing I thought of when I read the headline. Bringing in Dampeer as a dedicated backup center will help us instead of having to shuffle someone in if Dismukes left early.

GRob will be a hit, you don't lose your left tackle and not get hurt but tackle is a spot we can lose someone and still keep going forward.

I will even dare to say that losing GRob will hurt us a bit next year but help in the long run. Having a tackle leave early and get drafted top couple rounds will look great considering what a mess our line looked like before this coaching staff. Plus it will open up a spot from that 7 linemen class and allow us to take a player in another spot to help balance the roster out.

Mason will hurt but running back is a spot we should still be ok. Bringing in Williams will help ease the blow by giving us more of a passing presence to open up the run some more.

Both Mason and Grob were barely mentioned by draft people now are projected first day guys. That will be huge for recruits since our coaches can claim their success was a result of coaching by our coaches

Mason openly talks about leaving but he obviously could stay. Grob is more interesting and don't know much about his views but I expect him to go if he has a good last showing and good draft grades

If Dismukes stays (as he likely will), I see them redshirting Dampeer. That way he'll be up and ready to go for two years when Dismukes graduates.
