Well...momma just put the foot down and it is Athens/Oconee Co come hell or high water. The family will not be going with me to the next gig and that is where they want to be. So now I need to work on finding the best paying job within a reasonable drive from somewhere in Oconee Co starting Summer 2016.

Have you experience in coaching a college football team and taking them to multiple national championships?

The Chicken Express in Hwy 15 in Watkinsville is hiring.

But seriously.... there's really only three job markets around here. University/government, service industry, and the Caterpillar plant that is opening up. There is also some light agriculture in the area, mainly poultry.
There is more variety of employment options in Atlanta, but that's an hour 10 minutes minimum drive one way. Also, Lockheed would be a solid 2 hours, as it is on the opposite side of ATL.
You may just want to live on your pension and find something enjoyable you like to do around town like.... panhandling on Clayton or vandalizing bulldog statues.... will your wife work? What business is she in?
You've picked a great area for quality of life, but there really is shite for job market here, at least for middle class type jobs.

So it's a no-go on the headhunter?
