I'm being fair. Tenn isn't what they once were. Until they turn it around that is a true statement. They have had a decade of stagnation. I know one day they will turn it around but until then, they're not really on the same level as USC, UGA, Mizzou. Florida gets a year or two or the will be on Tenn's level. I don't think UF stays down, they have a recruiting goldmine in FL.

Yeah I know, I was addressing your "haven't beat us in a decade" comment. It'd be like me saying ole miss hasn't beat us in 20 years..which is somewhat misleading considering we only play them every 5 or 6 years.

I think everyone on this board is astutely aware that UT has been awful for a long time. I think these other gentlemen are trying to point out that history shows us that the trend will be reversed sooner rather than later.

The programs you listed are certainly better right now, but they aren't light years ahead. I don't know if UT will make the turn in the next couple of years, but I think the recruits from last class and this current class will go a long way in making my beloved Vols a contender again as long as the coaching doesn't get in the way.
