A lot of Florida fan's did, 2012 was Fool's Gold. Will Muschamp was always a horrible fit for UF and while he could be a great, maybe even Saban level coach someday, that time is a decade or so off in the future-- Florida's not the place to have your Michigan State (Saban), Bowling Green (Meyer) or Duke (Spurrier) years, the program's too big and the pressure and expectations are too high-

1) He should have been hired to coach an Ole Miss/Arky level program first if he wanted to break in at the BCS Conference level not a Florida/LSU/Alabama level program- somewhere he could get his feet wet and figure out how to be more than a great defensive coordinator.

2)A blue collar Bama-lite approach frankly isn't Florida football and even when he won it pissed off a large segment of our fanbase-- he is as big a mismatch for Florida's football culture as Rich Rod was for Michigan or an Air Raid HC would be at Bama-- somethings clash so hard with the established culture of a place that unless you're elite right away you just have no chance.
