How does that relate to the offensive line? Specifically, your supposition that the ol is shitty.
Nowhere did I suggest that our OL is "shitty" but they are far from elite which is what it takes to have an elite running game against even excellent defenses like Alabama's (note Auburn's 296 rushing yards vs Bama in the Iron Bowl). The correlation with my Vandy example is pretty obvious. Vandy is far from an elite defense and if we had a good OL they should be able sustain a 3.4 rushing yard average (what it takes to get first downs) with serviceable RB's against a team like Vandy.

Any triple option offense will have alot of rushing yards against anyone. See GT vs UGA in 2012 when they had 300+ rushing but only 10 points to show for it.
And as you mentioned, Auburn's yards vs Bama this year.
Do you really believe the secret to Tre Mason's success is Auburn's offensive line?
