Even if the Tigers have the game in hand by the first quarter of the game I have seen way too many games where the starters are left in way too long. I hear mixed statements whether or not Harris will be with the team for spring. If he is on the team, I think he will be the 2nd qb by the start of the season. If not, I am inclined to agree with you that he will become the #2 guy during the year.

That will definitely play a big factor in how he begins the season on the depth chart. Surely, enrolling in the spring can only benefit incoming freshmen QBs, as it did with Jennings this past year. Freshmen QBs that don't report until fall camp are certainly at a disadvantage compared to those that enroll early. Due to the complexity of the position, and the extreme change in gameplay from the high school to the college level, that extra semester in the system is invaluable.
