We should have done something like this decades ago...and it didn't have to be a high profile program either. A lot of teams stock their rosters with Florida high school kids...so coming to the Swamp gives them great exposure.
Think of the one and done deal deals we could have brokered: maybe Northwestern in 2015? It would be the 50th anniversary of our two game series in 1964-65 when Spurrier was qb.
Purdue? They need the exposure, Indiana, Minn T Sota? Boston College? UConn? Pitt (we played them several times back in the day), Texas Tech, etc etc
I know we could have convinced a few of these schools for a one and done at our house and could have sealed the deal with a number of aschools with neutral site meetings. just saying.
