I always enjoy keeping up with the bowl practices because it kind of gives us a look ahead at some of the names of young guys who will emerge in the next year or so. Also, it seems that we always make position changes for the following year at this time (e.g. James Carmon).
I love Collins:.
quote:
@MikeBBonner: If "juice" was the term of the preseason, "turn up" is the phrase of the postseason. Collins barking it at his defenders.
quote:
@GeneSwindoll: Justin Cox is working at safety on the 2nd defense.
quote:
@GeneSwindoll: Nick James at practice today.
I love Collins:.
quote:
@MikeBBonner: While the corners are jumping, Collins screams at @bobcarskadon "Carskadon! Come put this on the Internet! "

@HailStateFB: That's a defensive celebration after a Will Redmond interception. Nothing like bowl practice excitement. #HailState

I look for Redmond to take a big step forward next year. Hopefully, we move Cox to Safety and allow Redmond, Jiles and Calhoun to take over the CB positions.

Are any of our JUCO guys practicing with the team? I know for awhile people said Mullen didn't take JUCO guys who don't graduate in the fall. We have quite a few in this class and wondered if any are with the team yet.

What's the deal with De'Runnya? Mullen says he is in B'ham dealing with family issues. LINK

He def gained some lbs since he took his twitter profile pic. Is it a requirement to be a huge nerd if you cover MSU?

I guess so. When I was in Omaha, I saw Brad Locke walking around with a Batman shirt, black jeans, and black tennis shoes. Although, I do think Marshmellow was somewhat normal?

Your name is weedgoku666, I wouldn't figure you had anything BUT graphic tees. Do you hang out on the Union steps with the rest of the "intellectuals"?

I forgot Stevens also gets to vote for the Heisman. I guess everyone with a media badge gets a vote.

He's from Brookhaven, bro. Not very nice to treat the fellow Homeseeker like that.

He probably voted for Bo Wallace just so he could tweet about it and get backlash.
