Anyone have news on whether we have sold our initial allotment? I thought we had sold it by Thursday last year.

I believe our allotment may actually be larger this year. There is also a fair bit of annoyance about falling to the least prestigious bowl possible. Vanderbilt has not announced it, so I imagine not.
I really hope the fan base does not flop on this. It's our first real test to show that we're willing to travel to support the team.

Vandy Mania seems pretty certain that its 10,000. From looking at the sections in the allotment, that looks about right. I also saw today someone claiming that 6,000 tickets are sold so far. I'm sure we will sell out by the NCC priority deadline on Friday.

I would certainly hope so. I personally haven't gotten my tickets yet. Granted, as an Auburn student, I am waiting to see if I have a chance to go to NCG, so there's that. If not, I'll probably have my friend who is a student at VU get some tickets.

Well, apparently, the allotment did sell out. I'm surprised it was only 10,000 though. I guess I hadn't paid attention to the numbers, but oh well. Just checked the Compass Bowl website to see what tickets are left, and our sideline is pretty well sold out, so that's good...I think?

Our allotment sold out and Vandy requested more. Cheapest ticket on stubhub for our sideline is $80.

Yeah, it's very obvious which fan base is going to be there. Their tickets are way cheaper on Stubhub. Looks like we have to fill another stadium by ourselves again. Let's do it!

Well, it's official. I'll be at the game. Is it wrong that this 3rd bowl game in a row might have me more excited than most Christmas mornings as a kid?

Most kids don't get a Genuine Fist-Bumping James Franklin under their tree, so, no, it's not wrong at all.

I prefer the Carlton-dancing Franklin. He seems more fun. Granted, his headset slam-back and running fist pump is a great TD response too. I hope to see that a lot in B-ham.
