Why do we have 5 QBs on our roster going into next season?

Murphy RS Sr.
Mornhinweg RS So.
Staver RS Fr.
Grier FR.
all a year apart from one another. how will we be able to be consistent when we rotate quarterbacks every year? i'm thinking some will transfer to a lower level school. like skyler.

2 Won't be at UF next year.
You need to try and recruit 1 QB a year. Let the attrition play itself out.

Grier will redshirt and needs to...as any frosh qb in the SEC...that seperates him from everybody and I disagree about transfers...if 2013 proved anything its that injuries make depth charts look shallow fast. Skyler isn't that bad..frosh qb thrown in the fight before he was ready...he could be battling a year or two from now. Driskel will be r/s junior and has 2014-15. Murphy is upper classman and isn't going anywhere...he is a credit to our program and can serve in many ways. His arm is weak though and if he gets in good shape can be the wildcat guy we need once in a while....but unlike Burton...he could throw the ball for first downs.

I thought Driskel was going to be a SR next year. Did he get a medical redshirt this year?

You should recuit a QB every year so 5 is about right.

We were shorthanded on any experienced backup when Jacoby Brissett left and transferred to NC State. Shame...he could have started most of the season.
After 2013 I don't think any qb will transfer from UF without an argument from WM. Lesson learned and just think if the coaches could have coaxed him into staying? He still had redshirt to give and could have waited a year to see how things went....played some and then used r/s if he did leave. We would have had a much better year imo.
