The only reason UGA was able to shut down Auburn's run game is because our in-state rival Georgia Tech runs the same offense, and has for 8 years, so it's always on the prep table.

Otherwise, unless the defense is prepped for it, it will be successful.

There are ways to stop it. Vs GT in 2012, the triple option put up 350+ rushing on UGA, but only ended up with 9 points. Bend but don't break.

Everyone in the SEC will now start preparing better for Malzahn's magic pony offense.

Did UGA run a 3-5 or a Nickel vs GT? I would bet not

I feel as if this off season a lot of teams will spend a considerable amount of time dissecting it. I would not expect it to be as successful next year.
