I get what your saying Mean, but his defense would have kept the game from being close given the offense we've had ALL season. Yes and that is with the injuries. THREE games would have easily been won and in the fourth against Mizzou who knows, but I'd take being 11-1 over 8-4 any day.

That happens and we would be the team going to the SECCG plain and simple.

So if Ellis is doable, I'd snatch him up if I didn't see improvement after next season. (Concede to the youth excuse this year and let that rope pull tight the next season if things didn't change.)

Our secondary screwed us. Third down stops were atrocious! And honestly our guys didn't seem prepared at times.

Ellis couldn't do anything for all of the inexperience that we had at safety.

Playing freshmen at safety is like spotting the opponent 14 points. Especially when it's more than 1 freshman.
