Don't you think that's because the season is not over?
Who else would be a better fit for Texas? I'm thinking if I'm the AD for Texas I get real aggressive and go after the guy that turned an 0-8 SEC team into a West division champion and conference contender in ONE season.
My next question is, given Malzahn's success will Ellis entertain a lateral move to another SEC team?

Dunno. They seem to have turned things around enough that I think it'd be hard to oust him now. It could all rest on whether or not they take down Baylor.

1) Don't think Gus goes to AU and 2) Ellis would entertain a lateral move cause he sure as shite isn't gonna be a HC ever again. Don't mean it's likely but the dude did just dreadful at So Miss
