Nothing is overshadowed but what amazes me is how some fans turn a blind eye to everything this program has accomplished in the last 5 years.

Simple facts UA has controlled its own destiny. If we were not undefeated up to the point of those games in November we had no shot of still getting there. What some fans seem to forget is that UA continues since 2008 only to drop games to nationally ranked teams. Lets look at other programs that do not beat the teams they should beat each year, but UA has since 2008. So what we play a ranked team like ourselves and we drop a game here or there.

If you are so worried about November stop watching that month. I for one am ecstatic that UA in November is in line to win a NC every year. I am not one of these fans that gets so excited about preseason rankings. To me it is where you are in November that matters and we are now every year. So what we drop a game we are mortal. Any fan that thinks a program can go undefeated every year even with a coach like Saban is foolish.

If you want to put things in perspective and like to use stats lets look at this way. AU may come into the season ranked 1 or 2 in the country. Should be undefeated in November with a shot for the NC playoffs. Saban in his last 16 rematch games after a loss is 15-1. AU travels to TTown for the rematch. RTR

Can you imagine the pressure our guys have been under all season, being #1, taking everybody's best shot week after week? After the first two or three games this season, I was afraid we were gonna lose at least two games and possibly more.

I felt awful for them Saturday night, but am still really proud of this team.
