With Franklin to USC rumors abounding, do we panic yet?

Personally, I don't think so. He is getting anything and everything he wants at Vandy. He is just getting to his recruiting classes as far as players goes. The money also isn't an issue with David Williams's comments earlier this year about Franklin being in the top 3 or 4 compensated coaches in the SEC.

The one negative is that Franklin does seem routinely annoyed about the lack of attendance. However, on the flip side, there is improvement. His family also seems to love it here.

Am I just being overly optimistic? Should we really be worried that Franklin will leave?

I'm definitely worried that he is gone. The timing is good for him and he may feel he has to grab the ring while he can. OTOH, if his wife and girls are happy here, that can go a long way. Hard to know what he is thinking, but he seems very ambitious and USC would be a nice platform to work from.

Except fan support.

He's a great coach and I really hope you guys can keep him.

ETA: NVM just finished reading your post and you addressed the lack of attendance
