The fans don't really care about basketball in the offseason. Besides who do they talk with for 365 days a year? The two cities aren't even close.
Army-Navy? Please no. I'm a huge college football fan and the game doesn't interest me in the least. Ask any average fan and they'd say the same thing. Just check the TV ratings for the Iron Bowl and the Army-Navy game.

you do understand LA is considered one of the biggest, if not the biggest, basketball cities right? its lakers 24/7 in LA and everyone hates the celtics. everyone. my 88 year old grandmother refuses to wear green clothing

just because LA and boston arent within 90 miles of each other doesnt mean the two dont hate eachother
