you guys have played in 3 super bowls. the lakers and celtics have played eachother 11 times in the nba finals across 4 decades

Cool, but it still a rivalry that exists from playing eachother in Championships, not from being close, or playing eachother every year in the regular season. It's the two most popular fan bases in each respective conference who have met at the highest level in the midst of dynasties in multiple decades. I think the Lakers/Celtics rivalry is greater, but that wasn't your question, sweetheart.
