All was quiet before the game to claim the East,

the quiet was to the liking of Copeland the beast.

Today's fate will not wait.

Many awaited Rodeonaut's preview of the match,

many awaited Deputy Killz return to what should be natch.

But today's fate will not wait.

Basketball will have its day,

and with Volleyball you will have your say.

But today's fate will not wait.

Sumilin with JFF has done his worst,

Missouri will begin what will be remembered as the SEC East's Curse.

Today's fate will not wait.

Eta: Super drunk.

Eta2: Changed to today since it fricken almost 11 pm.

If you've spent tie with family over a holiday? I'd say you're entitled.

Did you stay in the great white north?

In-laws are from Michigan - I feel like that is close enough without the good Canadian beer (especially for a fricker who grew up in a Bama trailer park).

Good memory - , but when I said I was high . . .

Eta: Just got it I think - I used to (falsely) list my location as Montana. That actually is a good memory - . I am actually in TN (transplant from AL married to a girl from MI (she didn't know I was from Bama until it was too late)).

Been there. Posted that.

I not only appreciate drunken poetry/lyrics to shitty 70's rock songs. I embrace them.

Carry on my wayward son, carry on.

So, a wash?

And Garfield, be careful up there in Tennessee! They don't like Alabama people very much! True story - my guy was going through Tennessee one night, on his way home to Alabama. He has a pickup that has a front Bama plate, but it's not obnoxious. There's a wreck on the highway, and everyone is sitting. He comes to an exit, and takes it, stops at a gas station for a break. Two Tennessee fans there tell him there is a way around the wreck, and give him directions that they say will take him through some back roads and dump him out at the next exit - past the wreck. He writes it down, says thank you, and follows their directions. He ends up at a dead end, at the top of a mountain, looking down at the wreck on the highway. So, he retraces his steps and goes back to the gas station. The attendant tells him he's so sorry, that those guys drove away laughing about what they'd done and that he hadn't been able to catch him. Oh yeah, he had a mad-on!

BTW - I was remembering the Montana thing, that's where I thought you lived!
