This is depressing...

We have wins over 3 teams that will finish with better records than we will.
Vandy (8-4)
LSU (9-3)
Texas (8-4 at worst, maybe 9-3)
What. The. frick.
I honestly think we need a new OC or else if Freeze is calling the plays he needs to find someone he trusts with the job. If I never see another fricking bubble screen to Treadwell that pretty much always gets blown up in the backfield it will be too soon. I understand it's an "extension of our rungame" but it's a shitty extension.
What happened to our perimeter running? We struggled with it against Bama and Auburn and then it's like Freeze completely abandoned it. Why? Does he realize it's not one or the other when it comes to running up the middle vs. the perimeter? frick.

It's the Egg Bowl. You literally never know what is going to happen.
It's a fact of life now and no amount of crying is going to change that. We beat some good teams this year and State got the best of us.
Freeze is still the right man for the job and we are headed in the right direction. Losing a game to Mississippi State isn't going to change that.

I fully support Freeze right now, but you can't seriously be satisfied with the play calling on offense.

Yeah I dunno about completely getting rid of Dan but freeze needs to call the plays.

From what I've heard, the whole offensive staff comes up with the game plan. Freeze calls all 1st and 2nd down plays. Dan game plans and calls the 3rd down plays. I assume this is so Freeze can be thinking about the big picture during 3rd down (TO's, go or punt, clock management).

Sometimes you get outcoached. Their defensive staff outcoached our offensive staff.
The same coach that got outcoached Thursday coached circles around Mack Brown and Les Miles this year, and they have title rings.

I am a firm believer we were 3 interior lineman away from having a special year. The teams we struggled against were very very good in the middle against the run (Bama, State, Missouri, Auburn, we got Johnny footballed aginst A&M). If we had Morris all year and 2 more big time O lineman to run the way Freeze wants to run, those games might be different. I believe Freeze wants the running game to be similar to Auburn's but realizes we dont have the ability up front to block good DT's. That's why you saw so many sweeps and screens this year. That's just my opinion though.

Regardless of how they're perceived, they've both won a NC and played in another.

Play calling is abysmal. We a high powered offense we managed to not score offensive touchdowns in 2 games.

We've played a tougher schedule than all 3.
We are pretty even with all of those teams tho, so it's not too surprising.
