The bottom line with the Bielema hire is

Jeff Long put his career on the line right along with it. By giving Bielema a 12.6 million dollar buy out that does not decrease at all until year 4, that amounts to a sweat heart deal.
So, if Bielema has another losing season similar to this one look for the heat to firmly be applied and if he does not improve by year three. Look for Jeff Long to be offering his services some where else besides leaking his name to other jobs in order to play the school for raises.
When the smoke clears, it will be a total house cleaning.

funny how that works, Alabama should hire Long or offer his services after Saban leaves or retires. You guys could benefit from it.....

why would Alabama want a long time loser when we have a great system in place already.

Why ask why?
Did you not hear that Texas wanted Long right after a 0 fer SEC performance? Arkansas paid him an extra 100-200 grand a year for the filtration.
How come Alabama would not want Long as AD?

you said 12.6 million dollar buyout. that's not even remotely close to what it is. The buyout is $3m.
You also said it doesn't go down until year 4.
It clearly says in your linked source that it goes down 500k every year.
Reading comprehension is a struggle for you.
