I don't know (men don't take baths) but it does seem like my farts stink worse in the shower. Maybe that's because there's no escaping the smell in there.

I had a science friend tell me once that it has something to do with the gas being compressed in a moist environment.

Moisture increases your sense of smell
The same way you can "smell" when it's rained...so in the bath tub and shower, your sense of smell is increased so you can smell your farts better

My shower farts smell exponentially worse than my typical open air farts, or car farts, or friend's wedding/funeral farts.
I think it's a combination of enclosed space and the lack of a buffer (underwear, shorts, jeans) between my anus and the air. Just a theory.

Farts aren't actually more pungent in the shower, your sense of smell is enhanced because of falling water
