Did Auburn not have big breakdowns on defense in 2009, 2011 and 2012? That's typically how big plays are made, right? Alabama has made big plays against Auburn due to blown assignments and such, too...

The difference is that Alabama didn't need those to win or keep the game close. Auburn depended on huge plays to compete.

Most of your 24 first half points in 2010 was off of busts in the Auburn defense. When we stopped making dumb mistakes, you scored 3 points.

So yes, you needed those mistakes. And you still lost

Alabama needed them in 2009 and 2010, but not 2011 and 2012...mainly because Auburn was very mediocre in 2011 (no threat at quarterback, bad defense), and complete hippopotamus shite in 2012. Alabama will, however, need them this year, and likewise with Auburn. I expect big plays from both teams.

All IMO, of course.

Bama was up 24 fricking points! Evidently they did need big plays early to compete, because they didn't do jack shite the remainder of the game.
