Why isn't Mathers our feature back?

Is he simply better as a change-of-pace back?

Can he not block?

What's going on that I'm not aware of? The kid is lightening in a bottle.

Good question. Also why do our receivers have the drops?

Does he struggle with handling the ball? Personally Walton is my favorite

Treadmill has been fine aside from the Mizzou game. Donte has struggled all year with it

We win the Auburn game if they catch half the passes that hit them in the hands.

Those weren't his only drops. Vince has had them too. James had one huge one but hasn't dropped one since although he looked scared of getting hit against Missouri.

The one against A&M? I still haven't forgiven him

We've had big drops in every game since Auburn.

Yeah the horrible Treadwell drop early in the Mizzou game had me wondering WTF. I know the pass was slightly off, but it was in his hands. You gotta make that catch.

And Donte just flat had the ball stripped from him in the redzone on our last drive. He looked shocked. He should have been more aware of that defender and been prepared to fight for that ball.

like the commentator said, it looked like he just relaxed and thought the play was over

Fumbles

I live the way Mathers runs but I also think he's going to fumble every time he gets hit. If you can't hold onto the ball you're not playing.

He had a big one against LSU. He doesn't secure the ball well, I agree. I was sure he was going to fumble one against Mizzou but luckily he went down just before it was coming out.

One fumble and he's a fumblin machine?

Watch him run the ball. He doesn't take care if it. We are limiting his carries to prevent him from putting it on the ground.

He doesn't put two hands on the ball and you must do that. Especially in traffic, until he does he will not see the bulk of the carries.

Lmao. Go back and watch the LSU game. He almost fumbled EVERY time he touched it.
