DJ Welter has gotten ragged on all year, but I finally saw a game where his play fit in very well. He had a solid game against Manziel.

Welter has had a horrible habit of squaring up and waiting for the ball carrier to run to them rather than persuit the ball. You see it a ton where he had an opportunity to meet them at the line but instead let them come 5 yards to him as he plants an waits. That type of "contain" worked in his favor for manziel.

It is about matchups and Evans is tough for us to deal with..later in the year LSU'S WR's are as good as anyone's and in the second half they were not a factor vs Bama.

Bama is built to stop the run (God help Nick Marshall they cant throw it like Aggy)and matches up much better with an O Like LSU

Think he had 6 tackles and then he had some blitzes that moved Manzeil up in the pocket and forced some throws.

I can't argue about his problems, but I did enjoy seeing him have a good game. He deserves to be recognized.

When Manziel did scramble upfield, our LBs were there to limit yards.
